About Valeriu Cazacevschi
Contemporary Visual Artist
From an early age, Valeriu Cazacevschi found joy in drawing, yet his artistic career only took shape years later. In 2013, he made a decisive choice—to build a career as an artist. He began drawing with intent, refining his skills, and carving his path toward a life dedicated to art. That same year, he also started studying photography, which deepened his understanding of composition, light, and visual storytelling.
This journey led him to an ongoing exploration of art history, studying the techniques of the Old Masters, the Renaissance, and Modern Art. Over the years, he has relentlessly pursued knowledge, continuously refining his craft by exploring new techniques and artistic trends.
Beyond visual expression, Valeriu delved into philosophy and human analysis, disciplines he believes are essential for any artist seeking to reach the human subconscious. His works are not just visual pieces but psychological dialogues, designed to provoke thought and evoke raw emotions.
In 2022, Valeriu made a defining decision—to fully dedicate himself to his passion for the arts. His pieces are now part of private collections across Ireland and internationally, a testament to their growing impact.
To him, art is more than just an aesthetic pursuit; it is a serious dialogue that transcends time. Each of his creations is meticulously crafted, infused with thought, emotion, and originality. Sometimes unusual, sometimes unsettling, yet always profound, his art is a continuation of this timeless conversation—one that speaks to the depths of human experience.
A Full Commitment to Art
Valeriu finds inspiration in many great artists, particularly Alberto Giacometti, Constantin Brâncuși, and the unparalleled genius of Salvador Dalí. Fascinated by surrealism and the power of abstraction, he seeks to balance structure and fluidity, realism and imagination, in each of his works. His art challenges perceptions, creating a world where the mind and emotions collide.
His works have been exhibited in prestigious galleries, including the Royal Hibernian Academy and Greenacres Gallery in Ireland, as well as in Florence, Italy. His creations have also gained recognition in publications such as Itaca Magazine, where his work made it to the front cover.
